Prosecco Afternoon Tea

Our most popular gift... Enjoy a relaxed afternoon indulging in a selection of hand crafted Sandwiches, Miniature cakes and Scones with clotted cream and Jam accompanied by a selection of teas & coffees. Our full afternoon tea must be booked with a minimum of 24 hours notice. Served Monday Through to Saturday Excluding Sundays.

A 3-course meal served in either our oak panelled dining room or one of our three cosy bar areas all with log fires. During the summer months why not enjoy alfresco dining in our beautiful garden with stunning views of the Shropshire Hills. Can also be redeemed at lunchtime.

Arrive at The Castle Hotel and check into one of our individually designed bedrooms, walk out across the square to the unique Poetry Pharmacy for a half hour poetry consultation with Deborah Alma the world-famous Poetry Pharmacist. Once inspired with her poetry prescriptions spend the next hour or so relaxing in the Poetry Physic Garden which is reserved exclusively for you. The Physic Garden is a place of peace and creativity, to allow visitors time to themselves. It comes complete with a writing hut, which is stocked with supplies for making herbal infusions picked from the garden itself, with views out over the rooftops of Bishop’s Castle and the Shropshire Hills beyond. Then head back across to The Castle Hotel for a three course evening meal prepared using the best of Shropshire produce available. Relax with locally brewed real ales and wines. Then finally treat yourself to a full cooked Shropshire Breakfast the next morning.
